In v1 of Upcoming none of your personal data is transmitted off your device by the app without your knowledge.

The only part of Upcoming that may transfer personal data is the feedback email (accessible from the settings menu), which auto-fills with your device type and iOS version.

Events are stored in the iOS Calendar app and displayed in Upcoming, so the privacy policy of the iOS Calendar app will apply to any events you create.
